Jordan Selvage April 28th, 1977 - May 17th 2005

Jordan passed away on Tuesday.

His father called me Tuesday evening to let me know that there had been an accident. A girl ran a red light and his car was pushed into a utility pole.

When we were on the phone on Monday, Jordan was so excited about everything... Episode III, Serenity, Harry Potter, the fact that he had started to organize his apartment.

We were supposed to see Ep. III together next week. He was supposed to help me make my biker scout armor this summer. He was supposed to have the long and happy life that he deserved. Jordan was one of the best people I've ever met. Always loving, and caring. Loathe to say anything bad about anyone. He always knew what to say to make someone laugh and his smile was infectious, because you knew that when he was smiling at you that there were wonderful things in the world and everything was going to be okay.

I miss him so much. I don't know how to be normal when I need him so much that every breath hurts. He was always the one I could call when I was upset or needed to talk and now that he's not there I'm just lost.

Rest in peace, sweetie. I love you.

I miss Jordan as well....I didn't know him long, but his acquaintance was immediately recognized as pure, something missing from most people. He deserved the best...good guys do and will win in the end, Jordan.

Jordan was just so good. Not perfect, but good in the purest way. He was so loved and is missed by more people than he ever would have believed. He was one of the good ones and this world is a lesser place with him no longer in it. May his golden heart always be remembered by those who knew him. This would be a worthy tribute to a man who left us to soon. I loved you, Jordan. I still do.

....It's been a year.

It still sucks.

Last year, Harv and I had just spent the weekend getting parts of my Harry Potter costume together (finally a wand!!) and had gotten a few Final Fantasy 7 things at the Motor City Comic Con...and then there was all the prep for Episode III... We couldn't wait to show him the the awesome things he just HAD to get for his collection, too....

It's been a year and he is still missed by his Toledo friends.

People at work have his picture in their cubes, he will not be forgotten.

I wish I had more time to get to know him. I will see you in the afterlife bud.

Two years now. Jordan really was like a brother to me. I had a shot of Vodka for you tonight, buddy. (Still think it's nasty stuff...)
